Modern living at it's best.

The client was looking for open plan living as the existing apartment had walls in every corner blocking the amazing golden sands of Narrabeen beach, to achieve this the structural elements of the building required major changes to support the apartments on top and with the amazing work of the team and engineers this was made possible by adding an 800kg steel beam from one end of the apartment to the other.

The second challenge was the relentless force of the ocean and the corrosive winds and water. Our solution to this was to install a new set of fully pressurized custom stacker doors to get most of the view while standing up to the elements. All finishes in this apartment needed extra attention to assure the corrosive weather will not affect the material choices and the client will be enjoying the space in as new condition for many years to come.
